How do I take the fear away from a trick?

Try it on the smallest, easiest version of that obstacle

Today I skated curbs, all day haha. There was this one long curb that was a deck high and had grass on the top. The grass and the fact that it would not slide made it seem like the safest cloud to skate on, so I tried tricks I would never try on an actual rail or box like bk 360 lip, fr 360 lip, bigger flip boardslide. And while I was trying them, I was landing, or getting really close to landing like 80% of the time. And figuring out their secrets while not actually doing the trick. (curbs do not count lol, especially if they dont slide) If I was gonna try learn bk 360 lip on a small rail, It would take me forever cause I would not commit to that AT ALL. But i think I really figured it out on the curb, and I wanna try it a bit more, but I think Ill beable to transition to a rail really easily because I learnt and understood the fundamentals of the trick. Timing, shoulders, angle, where to look. All from trying it on a curb. Im definitely gonna keep this up and I hope it does transfer easily to a rail.

I hope by using this you can shortcut your way past fear and get your dreams tricks down!
